What is holistic pet care?
Holistic care is an empowering approach to helping your companion pet live their best life. It's a lifestyle that supports
wellness by emphasizing the need to look at the whole animal, including physical, environmental, emotional, and social levels. Natural therapies such as herbs, nutrition, Reiki, massage and flower essences are used to improve physical and behavioral issues.
Why Choose Holistic and Natural?
In some instances there are no conventional treatments available. For example, probiotics and digestive enzymes are excellent natural
therapies to assist in healing digestive system problems. There are no conventional medicines that work in the same way.
Many people view natural therapies as safer than conventional therapies with much fewer adverse effects. As an example,
immune-boosting, anti-inflammatory, vitamin- and mineral-rich herbs, and massage therapy are safer approaches for treating pets with arthritis than corticosteroids or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications. For
long term control of pain and inflammation, natural treatments are preferred over conventional therapies for their wide safety margins.
In addition, many chronic problems respond better to natural therapies. For example, a chronic ear infection that is reoccurring
with conventional treatment of antibiotics may clear quickly with a change in diet.
Finally, natural therapies may cost less over the long-term care of your pet than conventional therapies.
What types of conditions can be addressed with natural therapies?
